When looking for a job this summer I had no idea that I would end up in Paris as Community Manager of Coworkshop. After hearing about the concept of coworking it immediately peaked my interest. I had never heard of a coworking space like Coworkshop before, but I really liked the idea of entrepreneurs getting together and working in the same place because my goal is to own my own business one day and Coworkshop is the perfect to learn more about entrepreneurship.
After going through the process of meeting Stéphane and Maxime and learning more about Coworkshop, I knew it was the place I wanted to be apart of and I was very excited to get started.
This is my first time travelling to Paris, or any place in Europe. So far, I have had a blast exploring the different places in Europe, and especially Paris.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Coworkshop so far. I started working about a week before the opening. It was very interesting to see the process of starting a business and just how much work it really takes. Also, after doing some research, I learned just how popular coworking spaces are becoming, and I am very interested to learn more about them.
Since the opening, I have been amazed at how successful the company is doing. I would have never imagined that Coworkshop would have so many coworkers in just the first week. However, it does not surprise me too much because it is a really cool place and a great atmosphere to work in.
I am very glad for the opportunity to work at Coworkshop and not somewhere else in a boring cubicle. I have learned so much from my experiences here so far, and I am very excited to see what the rest of my time here will bring.
